Amazon.com Review
Wouldn't this make a great gift for a student, or a commuter? The machine brews right into the thermal travel mug and then shuts itself off, so your favorite coffee lover can simply grab and go!Great for commuters, office professionals, and one-coffee-drinker households, this personal coffeemaker brews 15 ounces of coffee directly into a stainless-steel travel mug. The mug has a rubber handle for a safe grip and a lid to keep coffee hot. It's tapered to a 2-1/2-inch-diameter bottom, so it fits most vehicle cup holders. The coffeemaker itself is designed for an on-the-go coffee drinker. It has a permanent filter--no messy disposable paper filters required--and shuts off automatically after brewing. The mug, filter, filter basket, and mug lid are dishwasher-safe, and the coffeemaker can also be used to heat water for tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like oatmeal and soup. Made of gleaming black plastic, it measures 9-3/4 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

This coffee maker is just okay. I would hesitate to buy it again if it broke.
Pros
inexpensive
super easy to use
makes 1 cup at a time and makes it quickly
Cons
makes crummy coffee
I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but I can tell the difference between diner swill and the better stuff. The coffee that comes out of this machine is somewhere in between. I think the problem is that the water runs right through the machine and does not spend enough time with the coffee. This makes for a quickly brewed cup, albeit a kind of flavorless quickly brewed cup. I think using little paper filters will fix this problem, but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

This thing is great. I am not a huge coffee drinker but I do like a cup to get me moving on some mornings. With this product I can get that with absolutely no problem in very little time. Easy to use, easy to clean, just great overall. Can't beat the price either.

i ordered this coffee maker from amazon, but it was something wrong with it did not brew hot coffee and also all of the water was not brewed, i sent it back, amazon payed for the shipping, and they sent me another one next day shipping, i am very pleased with amazon, and how they stand by their merchandise, i love this little coffeemaker,it brews only enough coffee for one person, and does it very quick.

The first coffee maker I received turned off before all the water went through and left me with a 1/2 to 2/3 cup of coffee. I contacted the manufacturer and they wanted me to cut the cord off and mail it to them. I then contacted Amazon who immediately sent me a return label. I put the coffee maker back in the original packaging and sent if off. By the time Amazon received my returned coffee maker, I had received the replacement. It works great for a low price coffee maker. My husband doesn't drink coffee and I drink 1 - 2 cups per day. This suits me just fine and I don't have to buy filters for a single cup.

I generally don't review products, but this time I may have something helpful to say. I use this coffee maker at home with no problems other reviewers have reported. In addition, I use one in my camper and it does double duty in this way: when I'm camped where electricity is available, I use it just like at home, if no electricity, I can heat water on the coleman stove and, leaving the coffee maker lid up, pour hot water through the filter from a pot so it drips directly into the cup. The resulting coffee is identical, just from a different water source. This allows me to travel with one coffee maker for all situations. I've ordered a few of these as gifts as well, and I have heard no negative reports from the receivers. I hope my comments are helpful to someone.
