"Need another place to buy these" 2010-04-25
By Thomas Kim (Mountain View, CA United States)
This system works well if you follow directions correctly. Make sure that the top of the filter is centered before you snap on the plastic top otherwise it could leak and put grounds in your coffee. Also make sure that you fill the filter completely with coffee grounds.
I would like another supplier who doesn't charge more for shipping and handling than the filters themselves.
If you haven't used a Keurig yet, you're in for a treat. Fresh coffee every time.

"The new stronger filters are out and work great!" 2010-04-24
By Miller "CoffeeM" (Oklahoma)
For all those that had issues with the filters that broke, that has been remedied! I had that problem too, contacted the owner and he told me new filters would be available by the beginning of April. I used 2 filters per brew until the new ones were available and that solved the issue for the time being. But I ordered some new filters a couple weeks ago and now I no longer have any breakage using one at a time. FANTASTIC! Customer service has been great in helping with the initial problems and quick in solving the issues.

And I have no problem getting nice strong coffee. Just play around with the grind and how much you pack in the filter. I like being able to make my own mix with the coffees of my choice. I even tried some nice strong Vietnamese coffees. Nice and strong!

By comparison, I find the cleanup is much easier than with the My K-Cup, now that the filters don't break. Yeah, I've tried most of the kcup alternatives out there! All in all, very pleased.

"doesnT work" 2010-04-22
By Bobbie Sue
I have had this product for a couple of months and have tried every type of coffee I could find. Every cup the bottom of the filter breaks and there is coffee grinds everywhere. I have gone back to using my bunn coffee maker as I haven't found a K -cup that matches the flavour of my favorite Tim Horton's.

"Works well, but too $$$ with shipping" 2010-04-20
By Andreas (Santa Cruz, CA)
I like this, it works as well as the modified My K cup (the original My K cup makes really weak coffee). There is no annoying metal filter to empty as there is with the My K cup, and there is less waste than a regular K cup. But when shipping is included, it costs $0.20 per filter. This does dip to $0.11 per filter if you order 1000, but a), who does that? and b) that is still almost 3 times what you pay for a regular filter that makes a whole pot of coffee.

If these are sold cheaper in bulk to reduce the end-cost to maybe $0.05 per filter, I'd continue to use them, but as-is, I'll probably go back to the My K cup after I run out.

"Best alternative to expensive K Cups" 2010-04-07
By Dean (Virginia)
Paired with the EZ-Cup filter holder, this is the best alternative to those expensive and wasteful K-Cups. First I tried the filter mesh basket that is sold by Keurig, and I did not like it becuase it makes a weak cup of coffee and it is messy to clean up. The EZ-Cup makes just as stong a cup of coffee as the K-Cups, and cleanup is very simple and quick.

Be sure to lay filter paper lid flat on top of coffee, and firmly seat the EX-Cup holder lid onto that (a little bit of paper should protrude over the edge). One additional hint: if you like a truly stong cup of coffee (hard to do with Keurig), add some espresso to your favorite coffee in the EZ-Cup.
