I purchased the Mini (personal one cup) Keurig as a gift and along with it I purchased the single "My K Cup" with the understanding that it would fit the Mini Keurig. It does not. Having read the description of the My K Cup before purchasing, I mis-understood all of the product model number verbiage and, as a result, the filter did not fit the machine. I am writing this review as a FYI to those individuals who may purchase the Mini Keurig on Amazon and then see the Keurig My K Cup Reusable Coffee Filter under the "also purchased with" area. Please do not be deceived into thinking that if you are purchasing the Mini Keurig and this filter shows up under the product in the "also purchased with" that it is going to fit this machine, as it does not.

I bought this thinking just what you are probably thinking as you search Amazon for it.... I am not going to pay for those expensive K-Cups. I'll get the pot and use my own coffee. DON'T .. please don't!! You'll be mad. First of all if you're a serious .. all day .. summer too... coffee drinker like I am.. this will only PISS YOU OFF. After each use you have to wash it. It's all caked up with coffee and you have to FULLY wash it EACH AND EVERY time you get ready to make a cup of coffee. That lone will get AGGRAVATING, to say the least. And it's not EASY to clean. You don't just shake it out, because the coffee is stuck to the filter. You need like a brush that cleans baby bottles to really clean it without having to stand there 5 or 10 minutes running water thru it.
The K-cups come out to like 50 cents each, sometimes less if you join a monthly club or catch a special and order up. Where as a regular canister of coffee may average out to about 33 or 34 cents a cups. BUT if you add back in the number of cups we throw out to fix a fresh pot, it almost evens out. And the extra few cents is all made up in convenience and taste. Seriously, I am a cheap bargain hunter, but this one I couldn't even get around. Don't buy this crap. If you pay the significant amount for the pot... which is honestly alot more than a regular Wal-Mart coffee pot.... then go ahead and join Amazons coffee club and buy the K-Cups. Trust Me. And if your REALLY TIGHT on the dollar, my sister says she runs her coffee thru the K-Cups twice before throwing them out with no problem at all and gets the same taste, and she spends half the money I do on coffee. ** I caution you though... she is a BOLD coffee drinker. If you drink a mild /morning blend coffee, like I do, the taste MAY be flat the 2nd time through. I don't do it.

Works well. I think it's a bit pricey for what it is but it's nice to be able to use your own coffee and less expensive. I'd recommend it.

There is really not much to say about this filter. It works as expected. This is my second filter, the first cracked after a year of use (I kinda hit it hard on a side of trashcan to get the old coffee out of it - my morning routine). I bought this second filter maybe 6 months ago and still works exactly the same - no cracks yet, filter did not tear.
The fact I can use this reusable cup vs one time pouches is great. I prefer this cup for four reasons - first I can buy coffee I like, the second I can make it stronger by simply adding more coffee, it is cheaper and this is a bit more environmentally friendly than one time plastic cups.
Would I change anything? no
Would I buy it again? yes

This is a life saver! What a great way to use my own coffee grounds and save some money on K cups. I will admit that I was hesitant to try it based on other reviews, but I have been using it for a week now and absolutely love it! I think the strength comes out very similar to the K cups. I am so glad I tried this and would recommend it to others!
