We are on our THIRD machine. The first one from Amazon would shut off after the first cup, starting after about a month of ownership. The replacement from Keurig worked for four months and started shorting the cups. The next one from Keurig failed right out of the box, dumping water all over the place while making a cup.
This is the single WORST most EXPENSIVE piece of garbage coffee maker I've EVER had the displeasure of owning. The machine has serious issues that have NOT, nor do I believe WILL EVER be addressed.
BUYER BEWARE- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. Do not think you'll luck out with this. My advise- don't walk, RUN from this machine. You have been warned.

We love our Keurig B60. Makes a great cup of coffee, fresh each time, IF you use the Kcups from Green Mountain or one of the other manufacturers. Our problem is that with finances as tight as they are these days, paying for each of those Kcups is pricey, and the "My Kcup" makes a bitter cup of coffee with lots of sediment that is stomach-upsetting.
My husband and I drink six to eight cups of coffee a day between the two of us. At the WalMart price for Green Mountain Kcups, that's $3.30 to $4.40 a day. Even at the lowest, that's over a thousand dollars a year in coffee. Cheaper prices can be had if we order from ebay, but it's not that big a difference - still close to a thousand.
We've tried the little device and lids for 'reusing' our kcups; we've looked at buying something on the "As Seen on TV" site, but it's a hassle then, removing the convenience of Kcups, but leaving us with the fresh-brewed cup each time. Right now, I cut coffee filters to fit the little mesh cup on the "My Kcup", and that gives us a pretty good cup of coffee without the sediment at Folger's coffee prices. We buy the sampler from Bed Bath & Beyond when we have company staying with us, so they can have fun. And...we brought out our old Bunn and use it most of the time. Perhaps if I win the lottery one day and can afford to be frivolous with my spending, I can go back to the Keurig full-time.

This machine is what it is, It makes a single cup of hot beverage, (small item of note, the first time I saw this the high end of the price was lower, and the final price was lower) right now you can purchase this item from bed bath and beyond for way less then they are selling it here (plus the twenty percent off coupon) It is not fair when they set the price so high, and then say its 60 percent off, because if your went to the store they are selling it for 130 or 140, plus you can use those coupons you get in the mail at Bed Bath and Beyond.
Anyway back to the machine it self, I have had mine for two days, will update if anything goes terribly wrong, but it has a temperature control and three beverage size, it is not the strongest coffee I have ever had, but I think a lot of the negative reviews are confusing bitter tasting coffee and strong coffee. I bet you they make this bitter sludge, and confuse a good cup of joe that does not taste bitter as being weak, kinda funny really.
Also the negative reviews seem to be upset with the life span of this coffee maker, which does not make sense to me, I mean if the machine lasts me one year, which seems to be the lowest end of the average from the negative reviews, and I only make one cup of brew a day, that machine would end up costing me around 3 and a half cents per cup of brew I made. So why are all these people not complaining about the price of the coffee pods, they cost way more the the machine does.
This machine is what it is, it probably has some plastic parts, it has a water pump and a heating unit, all of these things and not a solid state design, which means they have complex working parts that can and will break down eventually, I mean this is more like a car then say a dvd player or a tv, and most of the negative reviews do not take this into consideration. It is a machine, it will work for a while and the it will break and you can get another one or whine about how you feel slighted, most of the reviews are positive, so do the math and don't expect miracles from a glorified single use coffee machine.

Let's get the issue and fix out of the way first. Some reviewers stated a problem with powering on the unit only to have it light up and make noise for a few minutes but then turn itself off. Called Keurig and apparently this is a known issue. The guy said there's a reset switch in the place where the reservoir sits. Removing and replacing the reservoir should resolve the problem when it occurs. So if you turn on your B60 and it doesn't suck water in within about ten to twenty seconds - you'll hear it and see the water level change in the reservoir - remove and replace the reservoir. Now that's annoying, no question, especially for a $140 machine - ours does it every now and then although it helps if you make sure the reservoir is firmly seated every time.
If we'd paid full price it would bug me but we got ours for a lot less. It was 'as is', a barely-used return with nothing in the box but the machine. Once it was cleaned it up, I downloaded the manual and got the turn-itself-off fix from Keurig and we were set.
This thing is golden. We don't drink coffee; I use the B60 to brew tea and it's fantastic. Whatever you drink, get the reusable filter. For tea, either use loose tea or cut the top off a tea bag and empty the tea into the reusable filter (thanks Amazon reviewer who posted that tip!). The filter is less expensive than two boxes of K-cups and it works great. In fact, we haven't even bought any K-cups yet though we'll probably get some cocoa when winter rolls around again. One thing to keep in mind: you have to raise/lower the handle between each brew (as if loading a K-cup) before the brewer will dispense again. If it says 'Ready to Brew' but the serving-size button lights aren't flashing, just open and close the loading mechanism.
The three size options make getting the perfect amount easy and the programmable 'On' time is a very convenient feature. Set it and the machine's always waiting at the appointed time, ready to brew. To be clear, all this feature does is turn on the brewer, you still have to hit the button to dispense your beverage. You can also set an auto off time or program an interval after which the machine will turn itself off (for example, 1 hour after the last brew). Finally, you can set the water temperature anywhere in the range of 187-192 degrees, though I'm unclear just how much difference a five degree change will make.
Overall, I highly recommend the B60. Aside from the one small annoyance, it's excellent.

Before we purchased this particular model, we did an extensive search and found many models with similar features. This one had a few features that most we checked out didn't have. Temperature control and a timer were things we liked.
Though the cups tend to be a little pricey, all-in-all it tends to be a push as it is an on-demand type product. We don't make extra coffee (that would be thrown out) and the coffee we make is as fresh as it could be. We like to experiment with other coffee types too. Sometimes I like a French Roast and maybe in the evening a Mudslide. The decaf's are great and tea making for just hot water - gives water with no coffee taste.
Not sure how we ever lived with out it.
